The Real Act of Kindness (RAK) Development Foundation, in its usual support for vulnerable groups and those in need, visited the Gifted Talent School of the Deaf and donated items to support deaf children in their academic pursuits.
The items include books, water bottles, school bags, and raincoats.
The students on receiving the items were visibly overjoyed, and the Foundation was delighted to see the joy on their faces.
The RAK Development Foundation believes that education is the key to success, and they are committed to helping all students reach their full potential. They are grateful to the donors who made this possible.
A statement released by the foundation praised the school for being very welcoming, and the staff for being very kind and helpful.
“The students were eager to learn, and they were very grateful for the items that were donated”.
The Foundation also said it looks forward to working with the Gifted Talent School of The Deaf in the future.
They are committed to providing the students with the resources they need to succeed.
The proprietor, Mr Kehinde Akewusola, thanked RAK foundation for the generous donations. He said the donations will go a long way in improving quality of education of the children and called for more supports.
According to him, “our school is committed to providing conducive learning environment for our students, hence we are calling for more support from government, NGOs and other stakeholders of education.”
