The Bauchi State Association of the Deaf (BSAD) has congratulated all the Deaf Muslim and general muslim community in the country on the occassion of Eid-el Fitr celebration
The congratulatory message issued by the association was contained in a statement signed by the BSAD Public Relation Officer, PRO, Comr. Auwalu Mohammed Darazo
The statement reads in part: “On this occasion of the celebration of Eid-el Fitr, BSAD leadership calls on all Deaf Muslims Nigerians and the general Muslim faithfuls to utilize the chance Allah has given to them to elevate themselves to the greater heights, by showing love to all and strengthening the bond of unity amongst diverse faiths
“The Association, on behalf of battalions BSAD executive members, pray the Almighty Allah to accept all our ibadats (worships) observed in the just concluded holy month of Ramadan and give us the ability to continue with the good deeds.
“On this joyous day of sallah celebration, the Deaf muslims in particular and the general Muslim faithfuls around the world, has marked the end of the 29th days of fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan we have embarked on
“The day that love is shown to one another irrespective of any sorts of differences, the day that Muslims celebrate the mercy journey to Al-jannah (paradise) which began on the first day of Ramadan and ended two days ago, when the crescent moon believed to be the beginning of Shawwal month in the Islamic Lunar Calendar was sighted in some countries” the statement concluded
