The National President, Nigerian National Association of the Deaf, (NNAD) Hon. Chidi Topaz Olujie recently bagged his third degree, a Doctorate (EdD), from the North Central University, United States of America.
Confirming his newly conferred Doctor of Education title, the awarding institution, North Central University, congratulated Olujie and other graduates in a statement issued on Zoom.
The meeting, aired via Zoom owing to Covid19 pandemic preventive measures, was attended by several academics in the US who are aware of Olujie’s ‘deaf status’ specifically congratulated him on the comments box.
In a statement made available to Inclusive News Network, INN, Hon (Dr) Olujie thanked the North Central University, remarking on how proud he is to be an alumnus of the University. Olujie went on to cheerfully recommend the university to all and sundry.
The NNAD topshot further urged students with disabilities to keep striving to make it to the top through resilience in pursuing their dreams. “It’s possible”, he assured.
