Ramadan: Ohinoyi of Ebira Land Breaks Fasting with PWDs

His Royal Majesty, Alh. Dr. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, the Ohinoyi of Ebira Land has broke his fasting with Persons with Disability during the 15th day of Ramadan.

Yakubu Nazir Abdulhakeem, President, Kogi Central Persons with Disabilities Association who broke the news in a statement on Monday, expressed delight on the momentous occasion.

According to Abdulhakeem, “this historic event marks the first of its kind and demonstrates a remarkable level of humility and compassion towards persons with disabilities.

“This noble gesture is a significant step towards embracing zero discrimination against persons with disabilities and promoting total inclusiveness in our community. It is a reflection of the values of empathy, respect, and unity that we have been striving for.”

While extending heartfelt gratitude to His Royal Majesty, Abdulhakeem urged all prominent personalities in Ebira Land, including politicians and private individuals, to follow in the footsteps of Ohinoyi and emulate his exemplary leadership.

“By doing so, we can collectively work towards creating a more inclusive and supportive society for all members, regardless of their abilities.”
