People with Disabilities in Ogun state have joined the rest of Nigerians, calling on president Bola Tinubu to consider the appointment of Halimat Adenike Tejuosho as the next Minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation.
The group said the appointment is in line with the renewed hope Agenda of the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu that will bring unity, peace , progress and prosperity to our dear country Nigeria.
Speaking to the press at the first lady of Nigeria Renewed hope initiative program for women farmers and persons with Disabilities in the south west held in Abeokuta Ogun state Capital, the group spoke person, comrade Alfred Abayomi Soetan noted that the endorsement of Dr Adenike Tejuosho comes on the back of her records of competence and humanitarian service.
Soetan further disclosed that PWDs in Ogun State have benefited from various initiatives of Mrs Tejuosho such as sponsoring students to higher institutions, paying JAMB fees for students and distribution of food palliatives during Ramadan for persons with Disabilities in Ogun State.
The group believes that president Bola Tinubu will listen to the yearning and aspiration of people with disabilities by providing opportunities for the right people that will promote quality of life for the disability community and the less privileged.
