by Inclusive News Network

The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons With Disabilities (NCPWD), James David Lalu said the commission has set up a 24/7 WhatsApp Response Hotline for Persons with Disabilities to make inquiries, lodge complaints, forward suggestions and report abuse/ stigmatization.

The dedicated number will also ensure PWDs stay informed on activities of the commission through broadcast messages.

Mr Lalu made the disclosure on his Facebook page, Thursday, September 22, 2023.

He said the Commission already has a 24/7 hotline number through which abuse or discrimination can be reported.

However, the new WhatsApp hotline (+2347015370083) is expected to serve Persons with Disabilities who are unable to put across a call to the commission easily.
