Group Donates Relief materials To Omala IDPs In Kogi

A group Udama Kpai Unyogba Amoma Igala Development Association, has extended their hand of fellowship to the victims of the recent armed attack on Agojeju-Odo, Bagana, Ajokpachi-odo Communities in Omala Local government area of kogi State.

The National President of the Association, Mr. Seidu Yunisa, who was represented by Hon. Arome Ibrahim, Kogi state Chairman of the Association, made presentation of the relief materials to the IDPs in company of the Chairmen of the Association in Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala LG chapters.

Hon. Ibrahim prayed God to give families who lost their loved ones in the attack the fortitude to bear the loss of their family members and prayed God to restore peace to the Communities bereft of peace and hope as lasting peace remains elusive.

The local government caretaker Chairman, Hon. Mark Ameh Ediboh, who was represented by his chief of staff, Hon. Isaac Ataboh, thanked the Association for their show of love towards Omala conflict victims.

The caretaker Chairman graciously received the items for the benefit of the IDPs, and appealed for donations from individuals, corporate bodies and governments.

The chairman encouraged the leadership and members of the Association to sustain the spirit of unity and love among them to accomplish their ultimate goal of service to humanity.

The Chairmen of Ankpa and Olamaboro chapters of the Association in their separate remarks urged people of the affected communities to maintain peace at all times, while the donees thanked the donors for coming to their aid, and urged the donors to keep up the kind gesture.
