The Sen. Ahmad Wadada Aliyu Disabilities Support Group (SAWADSG) has donated two motorcycles to persons with physical disabilities in Nasarawa State as part of its efforts to promote inclusion, improve mobility, and enhance the livelihoods of persons with disabilities.
The motorcycles were presented on Monday by the State Coordinator of the group, Hon. Umar Dahiru, during a brief ceremony held at his residence in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
The beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that will ease transportation challenges and support their daily activities.
Speaking during the presentation, Dahiru said the initiative reflects the group’s commitment to empowering persons with disabilities and expanding opportunities for them across the state. He noted that the support also aligns with the group’s grassroots mobilization efforts in advancing the vision of Sen. Ahmad Wadada Aliyu for a more inclusive Nasarawa State.
He reaffirmed the group’s belief that, under the leadership of Sen. Ahmad Wadada Aliyu, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups would enjoy equal opportunities and greater participation in the state’s social and economic development.
