The Bauchi State Association of the Deaf (BSAD) has on behalf of the entire good Deaf people of Bauchi state, praised the Zonal Coordinator, Northeast Deaf Women Association Of Nigeria (DWAN), Miyausa Wayuta Mshelia, and her Zonal Chairpersons from Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe and Taraba States for the honour given to Bauchi state to host the first Northeast Zonal Summit and General Meeting of Deaf Women Association of Nigeria (DWAN).
The Physical presence of five out of the six North Eastern states chairpersons symbolize a true reflection of the North-east DWAN’s commitment to the ideal of one, united Deaf Womenhood in the zone and Nigeria at large.
In a message of appreciation signed by the Public Relation Officer (PRO) of BSAD, Comr Auwal Darazo the BSAD thanked all the participants of the DWAN maiden North East summit that recently held in the home of Nigerian First Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, a pillar of National attainment.
The Association expressed it’s immense appreciation to the North-East Zonal Coordinator Miyausa Wayuta Mshelia, the North-East leaders of DWAN and other Stakeholders who attended and added value to the Summit and General Meeting.
The Association also appreciated all officials who served on various committees and made meaningful contributions to the successful hosting of the event.
“To our Security, the BATV, BRC, NTA, other pressmen and women as well as the entire good Deaf people of Bauchi State, we appreciate you all for supporting in ensuring the event was a huge success”.
