Gov Sule Donates Food Items To Persons With Disabilities In Nasarawa

Nasarawa state Governor, Abdullahi A. Sule has donated food items to Persons with Disabilities in Nasarawa state.

The distribution facilitated by Mrs. Margaret Elayo, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs on Wednesday, include 620 bags of rice and cash.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Elayo said the items were distributed to cushion the effect of fuel subsidies removal.

She called on Persons with Disabilities to come forward and register with the ministry.

According to her, “by registering with the ministry, they will be offered various opportunities that will enable them to discover their God-given talents and reduce the need for begging on the streets.”

The event was attended by notable individuals, including Hon. Dr. Yakabu Andrew, the Head of the Special School Lafia, Ahmed A Sule, who lectures in the Physics Department at the Federal University Lafia, and Hon. Umar Dahiru, the Personal Assistant to the Governor on Disabilities, among others.
