Bond FM has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting vulnerable groups by donating food items to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) through the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA) as part of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The General Manager of Bond FM, Alhaji Abdul Wahab Akosile, led the station’s management team on a courtesy visit to LASODA, where he said partnering with the Agency would ensure the relief materials reached the intended beneficiaries. The station’s Head of Marketing, Mrs. Omoye Arauhi, also praised LASODA’s efforts in promoting disability inclusion and pledged the station’s continued support for the disability community.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the General Manager of LASODA, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mrs. Omolade Sonubi, thanked Bond FM for the generous gesture. She assured the donors that the food items would be distributed transparently to disability clusters, registered disability homes, non-governmental organisations, and eligible individuals with disabilities across Lagos State.
The donated items included 60 cartons of noodles, 50 packs of spaghetti, 15 bags of semolina, and 12 bags of 50-kilogram rice, underscoring Bond FM’s commitment to improving the welfare and well-being of Persons with Disabilities in Lagos.
