ABUJA – The APC Special Leader for the North Central Zone, Hon. David Aondofa, has held a strategic meeting with the National Special Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to discuss the welfare, empowerment, and political inclusion of persons with disabilities (PWDs), as well as preparations for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
The meeting focused on strengthening policies and initiatives aimed at improving access to opportunities for persons with disabilities and ensuring they benefit from the developmental programmes and reforms being implemented by the APC-led administration.
Speaking during the engagement, Aondofa stressed the importance of expanding political participation and economic empowerment for persons with disabilities, noting that their contributions remain critical to national development and inclusive governance. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing disability inclusion and promoting equal opportunities across the country.
The discussions also touched on grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections, with emphasis on engaging persons with disabilities as active stakeholders in the democratic process.
