Miss Agatha Okeke, a Blind lady who hails from Enugwu ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State was diagnosed with brain tumor and has been seeking financial assistance to help her undergo a corrective surgery.
The Government of Anambra State came to her rescue as a result of the letter she wrote through the Office of the Governor on Disability Matters seeking for financial help.

The Secretary to the State Government Prof. Solo Chukwudobelu,on Thursday 1st July 2021, on behalf of Governor Willie Obiano presented a cash of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira(1,500,000) to Miss Agatha Okeke in the company of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Disability Matters, Barrister Chuks Ezewuzie.
Expressing her joy, Miss Agatha Okeke thanked Governor Willie Obiano for the kind gesture, noting that he truly deserve the name Ogugua Ndi Olusi.
“I’m overwhelmed with joy, honestly it hasn’t been easy”.
