Foundation donates books to Kaduna schools

The Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF) on Tuesday donated 22,000 assorted books in various disciplines to 10 selected primary and secondary schools, as well Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria in Kaduna State.

The benefiting primary schools are; LEA Primary School, Kawo, Yahaya Hamza Primary School Unguwan Liman Zaria, LEA Primary School Unguwan Sarki, LEA Primary School Rigasa and LEA Primary School Unguwan Rimi.

The secondary schools are Queen Amina College, Kaduna, Barewa College Zaria, Sardauna Memorial College, Unguwan Dosa, Dalet Girls Secondary School/Junior Kawo Kaduna and Government Day Secondary School, Hayin Banki Kaduna.

The schools were nominated by the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed as part of her contributions to mitigate the challenges of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education in Nigeria.

Chief of Staff to the SEOF, AIG Chris Okey Ezuke (Rtd) said the primary and secondary schools will get 20 cartons, containing 2,000 of the assorted books for various disciplines, while the Ahmadu Bello University will get 60 cartons, containing 6,000 books.
