Youth Ministry Begins 3-Week National Digital Skills Training Programme

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has began a 3-week National Digital Skills Development Programme.

The training is holding at the National Youth Development Centre, Shere Hills, Jos, Plateau State and National Youth Development Centre Ode Omu, Osun State. The programme will run from March 6 to March 25, 2022.

The Nigerian youths are to undergo training in different skills, ranging from Web Design, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Cinematography, Phone Repair and Programming.

At the end of the programme, 300 Nigerian youths would have been trained on Digital Skills from the venues.

Starter packs and transportation allowances will be given to all the trainees, aside from the free accomodation and feeding provided.

It would be recalled that the Youth Ministry had also just concluded the training of about 480 Nigerian youths for Technical and Agricultural Skills at both Shere Hills, Jos and Odẹ Omu from February 20 to March 4, 2022.

All these are coming barely a year after such training was conducted at the National Youth Development Centre, Ode Omu with all the benefits mentioned above.
