The Women with Disabilities Forum has mobilizes support of women with disabilities for APC governorship candidate, Senator Uba Sani/Dr. Hadiza Balarabe the deputy Governor of Kaduna State, and for all candidates of the party, ahead the 2023 elections.
The move was made during the inauguration of Local Government Coordinators of the All Progressives Congress Women with Disabilities Forum (WWDF) at Manchok, Kaura Local Government Area of the State.
Speaking at the event, the Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe urged women with disabilities to elect credible leaders in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Balarabe, represented by Dr Christiana Ayakpat, Head of Human Resource Department of the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board, advised the women with disabilities not to see their condition as an impediment to making the right choice of leaders.
She said: “the Mallam Nasir El-Rufai led administration recognizes the potential in women, hence their appointment to key positions in the State”.
The Deputy Governor called on the women to vote for the APC at all levels to consolidate on the gains recorded in the last seven years.

Prof Benjamin Kumai Gugung, Party Chairman, Hon Nehemiah Sunday Aso, Medad Nikaf, and Hon Donatus Adamu, through his representative, Hon Seth Ayuba, all applauded the convener, Lois Auta for the beautiful initiative and pledged to work with her for the victory of the party during the forthcoming elections.
The Kaura chapter Chairman of the Joint Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Mr. Sebastine Yaya thanked Lois Auta for remembering them and for speaking on their behalf.

He noted that the initiative is a first of it’s kind in the history of Persons with Disabilities in the State. He appreciated Auta for all she does for PWDs and pledged their support for Uba Sani/Hadiza Balarabe and every other candidate of the party.
Hon. Hosea Musa, Councilor Manchok Ward, while inaugurating the Local Government coordinators of the APC Women with Disabilities Forum, charged them to work hard to achieve the mandate given to them, wishing them wisdom and strength to carry out the tasks ahead. He also seized the opportunity to applaud the convener for her work and the great impact of her initiative for Persons with Disabilities.
