The president of Students Representative Council of Gombe State University, Comrade Anas Ahmed has urged the Gombe State University management to reduce the school registration fees for Students living with disabilities in the University.
In a press release signed by his media aide and forwarded to INN on Friday, 1st November, the President in his own words said “With all sense of respect, we request the indulgence of the management to reduce the school fees for persons with disabilities so as to encourage and support the studies of people living with disabilities”
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Aliyu El-Nafaty said “the management are currently set to open an account that will serve the purpose. More so, the management will mobilise donors to support the education of the people with disabilities as well as less privilege people” he added.
