Sen. Lawan congratulates Abba Isa on appointment as SSA to President Tinubu

President of the Senate in the 9th National Assembly, distinguished Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, on his recent appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Disability Matters by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu last Thursday appointed Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa as his Senior Special Assistant on Disability Matters.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Hon. Abba Isa’s appointment is part of the president’s determination to ensure that every segment of society is sufficiently catered to within the ambit of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.

In his congratulatory letter personally signed by him, Senator Lawan noted that Hon. Abba Isa’s appointment is a remarkable achievement and a testament to his dedication and passion for advocating for the rights and needs of People with disabilities.

Sen. Lawan, who is currently the Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence in the 10th Assembly, maintained that Hon. Abba Isa’s extensive experience and expertise in disability matters, coupled with his unwavering commitment to promoting inclusivity and accessibility, make him the perfect candidate for this important role.

The 9th Assembly Senate President boasted that he has no doubt that the new SSA to the President will bring about positive change and make a significant impact in advancing the rights and opportunities for individuals with disabilities in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope’ Agenda.
