The E.I. People with Disabilities Farmers Cooperative Society Ltd has commended the Niger State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project for providing agricultural inputs to farmers with disabilities, describing the intervention as a major boost to inclusive agricultural development in the state.
In a letter of appreciation addressed to the State Project Coordinator of the ACReSAL Project, Malam Raji Shehu Adamu, the Chairman of the cooperative, Muhammad Abubakar Enagi, expressed gratitude on behalf of the management, members, and beneficiaries of the society for the support received through the project.
According to the cooperative, the agricultural inputs will significantly improve the productivity of its members, strengthen their livelihoods, and enable them to contribute more effectively to food security and economic development in Niger State. The group noted that the intervention reflects ACReSAL’s commitment to ensuring that persons with disabilities are not left behind in agricultural development programmes.
The cooperative also pledged to make effective and judicious use of the farm inputs to achieve the objectives of the intervention and maximize its benefits for members and their communities.
The society further praised Malam Adamu’s leadership and dedication to empowering vulnerable groups through sustainable agricultural initiatives, expressing optimism about sustaining its partnership with the ACReSAL Niger State Project in promoting inclusive agriculture across the state.
