The US Embassy Abuja represented by Mr Franz Seitz Philip paid a working visit to JONAPWD Secretariat on the 1st of March 2018 to explore New areas of partnership with JONAPWD, INN reports

According to the post, Part of the outcome of the laudable visit was a commitment on the part of the Embassy to build a working relationship with JONAPWD targeted towards ensuring Visibility and an all inclusive development interventions for persons with Disability in Nigeria.
It must be recalled that JONAPWD operates in 36 States of Nigeria and FCT, with a national headquarter located in the FCT. JONAPWD programmes in line with its objectives includes policy influencing through advocacy, training and capacity building for registered member associations, awareness, mobilisation and welfare through entrepreneurship and service delivery; all programme delivery approach utilises rights based approach ensuring that systems and structures at all levels are transformed with equitable power sharing.
