Nigerian Catholic Deaf Community Nnewiese has hosted Persons with Disabilities at its 2017 annual harvest and Thanksgiving program on 17 December in Anambra state.
Senior special Assistant to Anambra state government, Chuk Betrand Ezewuzie, at the service, said “We thank God that many churches are waking up to the fact that persons with disabilities do not have automatic access to heaven.”
“We are all sinners like you and therefore need salvation to make heaven. Jesus died for all and is ready to save all who trust in him.”, the state government representative said.
Kudos to the Chaplain, Rev Fr Callistus Agaero for his dedication and devotion to the evangelization of the deaf community.” He added.
