Nasarawa State Govt Reaffirms Dedication to Disability Welfare

The Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Disability Rights Commission (NSDRC), Mr. Saleh Barde Keana, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to safeguarding the rights and welfare of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).

Speaking at the opening of a three-day Digital Literacy Workshop held in Lafia and organized by the Inclusive Friends Association, an Abuja-based NGO, Mr. Barde Keana highlighted the Sule-led administration’s resolve to create inclusive policies that empower PWDs and ensure their full participation in society.

He urged participants to embrace the opportunity presented by the training to acquire practical skills that would enhance their quality of life and economic prospects.

Mr. Barde Keana extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Inclusive Friends Association for choosing Nasarawa State as a host for the initiative, describing it as a step in the right direction for building a more inclusive society.
