“Disability isn’t inability”, the recurrent verse on the lips of persons living with disability is undoubtedly true taking into consideration the amazing works of some disables in Ghana especially King Bajio.
Born Antwi Johnson but affectionately called King Bajio is undoubtedly one influential physically changed that Ghanaians can’t boast of especially in the field of sports. However, it looks like the genius has been abandoned perhaps due to his plight.
Speaking exclusively to Fante Quoo of Inside Prime Page television fame, King Bajio who currently works with Kumasi-based Light FM as sports pundit reiterated the rejection faced by talented disabled including himself for obvious reasons.
To him, although some disabled are on the streets begging but he opted to use his intelligentsia for the benefit of his country. However, the humiliation and rejection coming his way on daily basis makes life unbearable for him.
The experienced sports journalist who holds Diploma recounted how he has been suffering used the deplorable state of his wheelchair to buttress his point. As a result, he begged the general public to come to the aid of persons living with disability so they can fit well into the society.(Ghbase)
