LSACA Organises Sensitisation,  Training On HIV Prevention For PWDs

The Lagos State AIDS Control Agency (LSACA) Is organising a Sensitisation/Training for persons with disabilities (PWDs) to enlighten them on basic facts about HIV prevention which also includes prevention of mother-to-child transmission, universal safety precautions and referral linkages for Deaf and Blind People in Lagos State, INN reports

 

This was contained in the massage shared on social media by Lagos State Association of the Deaf (LSAD) Chairman, Mr Lukmon Agbabiaka.

 

According to him, the programme is expected to hold in batches with the first batch commence on the 5th-6th of April 2018. INN gathered that subsequent batches for the health programme expected to hold as follows:

  • 2nd Batch
    9th and 10th April, 2018,
  • 3rd Batch
    12th and 13th April, 2018,
  • 4th Batch 16th and 17th April 2018
  • 5th Batch
    19th and 20th April 2018.


The programme is expected to hold at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CBD, Nurudeen Olowopopo Street, Alausa-Ikeja. It is equally expected that time duration for the training would be from 9AM-5PM each day

 

INN learnt that a total number of 250 participants are expected to participate in the training. However, each batch is expected to carry 50 participants to attend the training for 2 days each.


Inn also learnt that refreshments and transportation allowance shall be provided throughout the duration of the training.
