- Deaf Women Association of Nigeria, Abuja Chapter, has called on stronger advocacy for equal rights for deaf women in Nigeria
- This was stated at the series of seminars organized by the association, in conjunction with IPAS and ECOWAS
- The Association also marked its 4th edition of Deaf Women Awareness Week
- The awareness week was tagged Sexual Reproductive Health and Gender based Violence Prevention and Economic Empowerment for Deaf Women toward the vision 2030.
DWAN Abuja chapter Chairlady, Hellen Udoye Beyioku-Alase, was in a Seminars organized by Deaf Women Association of Nigeria, Abuja Chapter in Collaboration with IPAS and ECOWAS Commission, Abuja to mark UN International Day for Persons with Disabilities and 4th edition of Deaf Women Health Awareness Week.
The 4th edition focused on Sexual Reproductive Health and Gender based Violence Prevention and Economic Empowerment for Deaf Women toward the vision 2030.
