Persons with disabilities in Imo state are celebrating one of their finest and one time Councillor for Nneato Nweafor Ward in Isiala Mbano LGA, former Publicity Secretary of Spinal Cord Injuries Association of Nigeria (SCIAN) Imo Chapter and the immediate past State Secretary of JONAPWD, Hon. Jude Okparaeke on his birthday.
In a statement signed by Mr. Kelechi L. U. Onuoha who is the Chairman of the Committee organising the birthday ceremony and made available to the press, it described Hon. Okparaeke as an outspoken and dogged crusader in the restoration of rights of PWDs.
The group also described him as a leader who is articulate and committed to his duties. He used his peaceful disposition to attract jobs for PWDs while he held sway as the JONAPWD’s secretary and prayed God to grant him more fruitful years ahead with good health.
