If You Love Me, You Have To Embrace Ekiti PWDs – Gov Oyebanji

The Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has on Tuesday 26th during a town hall meeting with Stakeholders towards the preparation of 2024 budget of Ekiti State told all the community members including the Obas, the Chairmen and other stakeholders to show some love to persons with disabilities in the state.

This was made known after Mr. Olajide Funso the General Secretary of Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities and the Executive Director, Disability Not A Barrier Initiative has stated numerous benefits from Mr. Governor such as employment of sign language interpreters, donation of Buses to the special schools in the state, appointment of Special Adviser on special school and Social inclusion and many more as a form of appreciation before presenting the needs of the PWDs.

Mr. Funso also made a reference to Governor Oyebanji’s last birthday as he publicly announced that any gift meant for him should be converted to cash gifts and should be given to all special schools in Ekiti state.

He furthered to appreciate Mr. Governor as he presented the hardcopy of the needs of PWDs in the state to him

Governor Oyebanji was happy to receive it and he also commended Mr. Funso for his brilliance and other PWDs in attendance and he assured the group of his compliance.

That is a great achievement to the entire communities across the board , we hope and pray the almighty Allah should grant his excellence great fevour in his good willing through out his life . Ameen
