Gov. Eric Greitens of Missouri State have made seven appointments to boards and commissions of the state as Nigerian born Deaf lawyer, Barrister Opeoluwa Sotonwa, make the list among the appointees, INN reports
INN learnt that Bar. Opeoluwa Sotonwa, of Jefferson City, was appointed to the Governor’s Council on Disability and the Missouri 911 Service Board.
Bar. Sotonwa is the Executive Director of the Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. He received his Master of Laws degree from the Howard University School of Law and is a doctoral candidate at Northeastern University in Boston.
INN learnt some other were appointed into different positions, apart from Bar Sotonwa, they include:
Kenneth “Brooks” Miller, of Springfield, who was appointed to the Truman State University Board of Governors.
Miller is President and CEO of Jordan Valley Community Health Center. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Master of Arts degree in education administration from Truman State University. Miller is a board member of the Truman State University Alumni Association and the Missouri Foundation for Health.
Michael Grewe, of Clarkson Valley, was appointed to the State Lottery Commission.
Grewe is the head of Property Management at G.J. Grewe, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in human environmental sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia, INN learnt.
Dr. Jeffrey Glaser, of Frontenac, was appointed to the State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
Dr. Glaser is a urologist with Specialists in Urology, LLC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Northwestern University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine.
Ron Darrah, of Mountain Grove, was appointed to the Missouri State Board of Accountancy.
Darrah, we learned, is the president of Darrah & Company, P.C. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Frederick Kostecki, of St. Louis, was appointed to the Missouri State Board of Accountancy.
Mr Kostecki is the Managing Partner of the St. Louis office of RubinBrown LLP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
