More than 80 children, including children with disabilities, have benefited from assistive devices, medical support, and recreational activities at the 9th Inclusive Children’s Party organised by the Super Parents Foundation in Lagos.
The event, held on May 31, 2026, featured therapy sessions, inclusive games, and social activities designed to promote inclusion, social interaction, and support for children with disabilities. Beneficiaries were drawn from the Lagos, Kaduna, and Ibadan chapters of the foundation.
A major highlight of the programme was the distribution of assistive devices and medical support. Thirteen children received cerebral palsy wheelchairs, while 15 others were provided with standing frames and CP chairs. Sixteen beneficiaries also received ankle-foot orthoses and backslaps, while 10 children were given anti-seizure medications to support their healthcare needs.
Speaking at the event, the founder of Super Parents Foundation, Mofoluwasho Liasu, thanked donors, sponsors, and partners, particularly Concert for Change, for their support. She urged parents and caregivers to ensure the proper use of the devices to improve the development and quality of life of their children. Representatives of Ojodu LCDA, Concert for Change, and the also attended the event and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting persons with disabilities.
