Disability matters Aide gifts cash to 200 women, less privileged

As part of effort to put smiles on the faces of vulnerable groups, the Special Assistant to Nasarawa state Governor on Disability matters, Hon. Umar Dahiru has donated cash to some less privileged and Women in his polling units at Zanwa of Lafia Local Government Area, Nasarawa state.

Speaking during the distribution, Dahiru said he decided to donate the cash in order to put smiles on faces of the less privileged and also to enable them to reduce their challenges.

Dahiru explained that the distribution of the cash was part of his continued commitment to support Governor Abdullahi A. Sule towards uplifting the standard of living of the people of the State.

Hon. Umar used the opportunity to call on beneficiaries to use the cash for the purpose they are meant for.

He further assured of his readiness to continue to support the government policies and programmes aimed at impacting positively on the lives of rural people and called for support to the present administration to succeed.

On their part, the beneficiaries collectively commended the donor, saying the gesture will go a long way in impacting their lives, just as they prayed to God Almighty to reward the donor.
