The Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Disability Rights Commission, Hon. Saleh Barde Keana, has called for the inclusion of accessibility features in the newly completed office complex of the Nasarawa State Investment Development Agency (NASIDA) during a courtesy visit to the Agency’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Barr. Ibrahim Adamu Abdullahi.
Hon. Keana, who congratulated the NASIDA boss on the successful completion and relocation to the new office complex, commended the Agency’s investment-friendly policies and reforms, describing them as key drivers of economic growth and improved ease of doing business in Nasarawa State.
He urged the Agency to ensure that the new office is fully accessible to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), stressing that compliance with the Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act is essential to promoting equal access and inclusive public service delivery.
In his response, Barr. Ibrahim Abdullahi appreciated the visit and assured the Commission of NASIDA’s commitment to addressing the accessibility concerns, pledging to make the new facility inclusive and accessible for all residents, including Persons with Disabilities.
