Black Stars B on Friday donated several items to the Akropong School of the Blind ahead of their crucial CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso.

The items presented to the school include toilet rolls, bars of soaps and detergent, cartons of milk a box of mackerel and among others.

Making the donation on behalf of the team, the spokesperson of Black Stars B, Opoku Afriyie said that the players and coaches recognize the need of the school hence the decision to support them.

He appealed to the students to offer prayers to the team as they embark on a very difficult mission.

“Players and coaches of the Black Stars come from humble backgrounds and feel the pain of these students so we decided to come here today to show them love and support”.

One of the students expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the team and wish them the best of luck in their encounter with the Burkinabes. He beseeched Heaven to crown the efforts of coach Maxwell Konadu and his charges with victory against Burkina.

Meanwhile the team is expected to leave Ghana via a chartered flight to Burkina Faso tomorrow for the game. (Iron Lady)
