The Deaf Support Group of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ojo Constituency 01 on Saturday paid solidarity visit to the youthful member of Lagos State House of Assembly Ojo Constituency 01, Comrade Ege Olusegun Adebisi.

During the visit, the group seized the opportunity to appeal to him to embrace and accommodate all interests, which include the People With Disabilities in his representation.

The Secretary of the Group, Mrs Adole Comfort , made the appeal at the Ojo Local Government Constituency I Office of the Lawmaker during the visit.

Adole who said that people with disabilities, particularly those with deafness were part of the society, urged the people’s Legislator to give them a sense of belonging.

She further stated that the deaf community had continually suffered discriminations in the constituency and urged Comrade Ege to create opportunities for them and other people with disabilities.

An Award of Excellence was presented to Comrade Lawmaker by the deaf group as a way of appreciating him for the commendable ways he changed the trajectory of representation in the Constituency.

Director General of Ege 2023 Campaign Team, Mr Idris Akebaje (Aloma) appreciated the group for their kind gesture and emphasised that Comrade ege door is characteristically opened to everyone, anytime, any day and that he remains unflinching in his resolve towards delivering dividends of democracy to the constituents as promised.
