Inclusive Friends Association, IFA has urged Independent National Electoral Commission to ensure easy access to polling units for persons with disabilities.
The executive director, Grace Jerry said this in her response to INEC on behalf of the Civil Society Organisations during the consultative meeting with CSOs held on Wednesday, 19 January.
She advised INEC to put in place a measure that ensures easy access to polling units for persons with disabilities during the FCT area council election, Ekiti, and Osun off-cycle Governorship election.
Grace also tasked INEC to intensify efforts to issue PVC to avoid disenfranchising of voters.
She called for the continued deployment of assistive materials for PWDs and also commended INEC for the Anambra November 6, 2021, Governorship Election.
