Disability Rights Advocacy Center, DRAC, said it has successfully trained young women and girls with disabilities on series of self-improvement sessions where basic skills for personal and social development are imparted in FCT and Karu local government.

The group announced this in a statement shared Monday on social media.

The statement read in part, “through these sessions that were held in the six area councils of the FCT and Karu local government, Women and Girls with Disabilities (WGWD) learnt better ways to communicate with others, develop their self-esteem, take responsibilities for their actions, and make informed choices and decisions.
