Have Faith In Your Children with disabilities — Oyo State LG Chairperson Charges Mothers

The wife of the executive chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Alhaja Sanusi Dasola has called on mothers to take proper care of their children and wards with disabilities in order to bring out abilities in their disabilities.

Alhaja Sanusi made this known during the new year celebration with the physically challenged people at NIPSN Homes, Ariori Village at Ona Ara Local Government. She stated that people with disabilities are rare gifts from God and that parents should ensure there is no discrimination between the children.

The chairperson frown at the attitudes of some parents that neglect their wards because of one disability or other and enjoined them to embrace them as special people and pledged to do everything possible to help the Network for Inclusion of People with Disability Needs (NIPSN) and other orphanage homes in the council.

While congratulating the physically challenged, the wife of their Chairman implored them all to make use of their conditions to detect their talents and be focused as they can be successful in any Choice of their chosen Carriers.

Alhaj Sanusi commended her husband, the executive chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Hon Sanusi Musibau Adesina, and the management team for making her dream a reality. She pledged her support to the activities and programmes of the Home.

The secretary of NIPSN Homes, Mr Motilade AbdulAzeez, commended the chairperson for her initiative adding that it is the first time that government celebrated and identify with them.

He however prayed for the success of the present administration in the council.

In another development, the first baby of the year 2022 was delivered at Aba Emu Pry Health Center around 12.30 a.m on Saturday ist January 2022 to Mr. and Mrs. Bello.

While presenting material and cash gifts to baby Bello, Alhaja Sanusi admonished mothers to do exclusive breastfeeding of 6 months for their children.

She urged mothers to join hands with Her Excellency, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde’s campaigns against maternal mortality rates in the state.

She commended the efforts of the executive Governor , His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde’s gesture of remodelling health centres across all the wards in the state.

The events witnessed the presentation of gifts to the homes, singing, and dancing among others.
Among the entourage of the chairperson includes the councilor representing ward 08, Hon. Ojo Romoke, Hon. Kemi Bolaji and Hon. Omolara Alli, the Supervisor Councillors among others.
