Borno Assembly Move To Establish Board For Person With Disabilities.

The Borno State House of Assembly Joint Committee on Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation, Social Development, Youth Empowerment and Sports has sponsored a Bill to seeking to establish the State Board for Person With Disabilities (PWDs).

Sponsor of the Bill, Rt. Hon. Alhaji Ali Kotoko said public hearing on the bill has already commenced at the International Conference Musa Usman Secretariat Maiduguri.

Kotoko, who represents Maiduguri Metropolitan Council and also Chairman House Committee on Poverty Alleviation at the Borno State House of Assembly expressed optimism that the Board when established, will cater for the welfare of PWDs in the State.
