The newly appointed member of the APC Caretaker Committee representing Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) Dr James Lalu have expressed his appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari, APC National Executive Committee (NEC), and Plateau State Governor Bar Simon Lalong for the confidence and trust in him to represent the disability community in the Committee.
Lalu, in a statement on his verified Facebook page, Lalu wrote “To His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari and all members of the NEC of our great Party APC I am sincerely most thankful for this great National opportunity to serve. My Governor and Daddy, Rt. Hon. Barr. Simon B. Lalong KSSG. I am grateful for the confidence and trust you have in me. I remain eternally grateful!!!”
It will be recalled that Lalu, from the Deaf cluster, was last month appointed into the 13-man Caretaker And Convention Committee after the dissolution of the APC National Working Committee by President Buhari.
He is the immediate past Chairman of Plateau State Disability Rights Commission and a leader in disability community especially in Plateau State.
