Governor Willie Obiano’s Special Adviser on Disability Matters in Anambra State, Barrister Chuks Ezewuzie has called on the National Assembly to come up with a bill that will create seats for persons with disabilities at both houses of the National Assembly.

Addressing the House of Representatives Special Committee on the review of the 1999 Constitution, Barrister Ezewuzie suggested an amendment to Section 48, Section 49 and Section 71 of the 1999 Constitution to include 35millions Nigerians living with disabilities in the national body politics.

Ezewuzie commended the law makers for supporting a similar bill which seeks to create additional 111 seats for women in both houses. The said bill has already passed a second reading in the Green Chambers.
