Our PWDs Need Affordable, Inclusive And Accessible Health Services: Lois Auta tells NASS

Members of the Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives have been called upon by the CEO and Founder, Cedar Seed Foundation on the need to pass legislation that would guarantee Persons with Disabilities affordable, inclusive and accessible health services in Nigeria.

Lois Auta-Udonkanta made this charge at a joint public hearing organized by chairman of the house committee on healthcare and communicable diseases, Senator Chukwuka Utazi on Thursday.

In a statement shared on social media, Auta-Udonkanta said she told the joint NASS: “We want to see affordable, inclusive and accessible health services for Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria”.

Udonkanta also expressed her desire to sponsor other bills on behalf of Persons with Disabilities in the nearest foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, she thanked all who made the public hearing possible.
