Governor Willie Mmadụaburochukwu Obiano’s support for the Disability Community yields another dividend as Mrs Njideka Iyiazi a gold medalist makes Anambra State proud.
Mrs Njideka Iyiazi is one of the Anambra State Athletes with Disability, in 2017, she was recognized and rewarded for representing Nigeria in various sporting events in Brazil at Governor’s Lodge Amawbia. She has again secured a spot in the short put game and will represent Nigeria in the forthcoming Tokyo Para-Olympics in July.
The Managing Director of Anambra State Sports development Commission, Chief Tony Oli disclosed this in a recent chat with the Special Adviser to the Governor on Disability Matters Barrister Chuks Ezewuzie and said that Mrs Njideka Iyiazi distinguished her self in short put at the just concluded Para Olympic Qualifying Championship Game held in Tunisia last week.

He also stated that Mrs Njideka Iyiazi not only received 1million naira from Anambra State Government but also got a double promotion at her State Civil Service job previously.
The Office of the Governor on Disability Matters congratulate and wishes Mrs Njideka Iyiazi a successful outing in Japan.
