Persons with Disabitilies Group Commends Bauchi Governor’s One Year Strides

The Bauchi State Persons with Disabilities Support Group from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lauded the positive transformation recorded by the Governor of the State, Sen. Bala Mohammed CON in his last 365 days in office.

The Group led by its Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed said that the Governor has performed extremely well in area of education.

He listed some of his strides to include the renovation of Azare/Toro Special Schools in shortest period of time, continuation of the construction of Bauchi College of Nursing and Midwifery as well as renovation of a hundred classrooms.

Noting that the Governor’s efforts were commendable, he said the Bauchi helmsman was the first Governor to appoint a Person with Disability (PWD) as part of his Transition Committee to give PWDs a sense of belonging.

The Governor also assured that he would retain the autonomy of the Bauchi State Agency for PWDs.

“This is truly commendable and highly appreciated” Ibrahim Mohammed said.
