JeNi Will, a person with physical Disability and rising star who emerged the fourth winner of Spangler market and vent square 2020 in a fierce contest in March died today.
The news of her death was disclosed on social media by her close friends this morning.
The Inclusive News Network (INN) in a publication in March, 2019, commended JeNi Will (Jennifer Ibrahim) for her courage in contesting for Spangler market and won.
Jennifer Ibrahim, in an earlier interview with Women of Rubies was noted asserting that she wanted to be a ray of hope to people living with Disability.
INN gathers that Jenn, 21, a poultry farmer from Ankpa, Kaduna State was not really sick, she just had small fever which took her life this midnight.
One of her friends, Foluso Oginni Liasu, in a Facebook post received by INN narrated how she probably knew her time was about to be over before her death.
“I was told she wasn’t really ill, just a small fever claimed her life this midnight.”
‘She called yesterday and kept saying, ‘Mummy I am sorry I haven’t called, you were in my mind, mum I am so sorry.’ I told her it was fine but she kept apologising.’
On the day she celebrated her many years on wheel chairs, she kept pleading that I come over, I laughed and sent what I could.’
‘Was it that she was preparing?’
‘Maybe I should be comforted she slept on forever without pain, I do not know. She was really giggling and talking with smiles and joy yesterday. I am confused but I write when I am confused” She added.
Several others have started sending tributes on her death.
