The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons with Disabilities Mr James David Lalu has applauded the appointment of Ms. Ekaete Umoh as the new Country Director of Christian Blind Mission (CBM) Global.
The head of media and publicity, NCPWD, Mbanefo JohnMichael I made the disclosure in a press statement on Friday.
Lalu said that the appointment is well- deserved bearing in mind Umoh’s experience as the President of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD).
The ES in his message underscored the resilience, doggedness and leadership qualities of the newly appointed CBM Country Director for Nigeria and described her as an amazon of the PWDs community.
He also seized the occasion to wish Ms. Ekaete Umoh many more laurels in her future endeavours.
“she will forever remain an ambassador for persons with disabilities across the country and beyond” he concluded.
