For assisting some forty of its members to smoothly participate in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration exercise, the Edo State Deaf Association has received accolades from its big brother at the National Headquarters, Abuja.
The registration exercise which started yesterday, 20th July, continue to grow in enrollment numbers.
National Secretary General of NNAD, Engr. Adejumo, in a statement made public, enjoined other States Associations to emulate the Edo example and mobilize their members to participate in the exercise while it lasts by visiting their State INEC offices for assistance.
“The PWD Desk officer in the INEC will be willing to guide on how they (Deaf) members can be helped.” Adejumo noted.
