The Imo State First Lady, Barr. Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma, in collaboration with the Chairman house committee on disability, Rt. Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, through the Ministry of Women Affairs and vulnerable groups paid a pleasant visit to the state rehabilitation centre for destitute, located at Umuneke Ngor, Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.
The honorable commissioner for women affairs and vulnerable groups, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, in her greetings to the inmates, reiterated the determination and willingness of the Office of the First Lady to ensure that vulnerable citizens are taken care of.

INN learned that Her Excellency through the Ministry of women affairs, have always been a regular visitor of the rehabilitation centre, providing them with all necessary assistance to effectively aid their operations. On Friday they were presented with variety of food items, beddings, foams, etc. to enhance their living conditions.
Ugwu, expressed satisfaction on the report that some patients have been rehabilitated, and discharged from the centre to go back to their families, while some others are promptly responding to treatment.
She charged the caregivers to ensure that all inmates are well fed and their immediate needs promptly reported to the office of the Imo First Lady, Barr. Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma.
