Kyennan Mizim assumes office, vows to unite all clusters of disabilities in plateau state, partner NCPWD

The newly appointed Executive chairperson of the Plateau State Disability Rights Commission, Hon. Kyennan Mizim has assumed her office in the state amidst jubilation from management and staff of the Commission led by the Secretary of the Commission, Carl Gurumyen indicating her warm reception.

Mizim who described her appointment as home coming having worked as a member in the commission before sued for the cooperation of both management and staff by cultivating team spirit.

She expressed her determination to unite the clusters of disabilities in the state as well as partner with the national commission and other relevant bodies to make life meaningful for Person’s Living with Disabilities in the state.

She expressed her readiness to advocate to relevant authorities for inclusiveness and easy accessibilities for persons with disabilities in the state.

Other members of the commission are Mr Deignmuk M. Damasus, Mr Seth Attah, Mr Gyang Joshua Zi and Catherine Kyamwan
