ALDIN Lauds NBA For Inaugurating Lawyers With Disabilities Forum

The Association of Lawyers with Disabilities in Nigeria ( ALDIN ) has commended the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA over the establishment of the NBA, Lawyers with Disabilities Forum (LWDF).

This was disclosed by ALDIN Director of Media and Publicity, Yusuf Iyodo Esq. in a letter addressed to the NBA on Sunday.

Iyodo said that the creation of Lawyers with Disability Forum is a promise kept by the Akpata led NBA.

The letter read in part; “It would be remembered that in your campaign manifesto, you promised that you would create the forum when elected President. Now, you have clearly shown that you are a man of your words. You will by this singular act be leaving a great legacy that will be perpetually celebrating – the NBA President who revolutionized the NBA to work for all, including lawyers with disabilities”.

Iyodo also stated that their members are very much mindful of the enormous responsibility bestowed upon them through the inclusion of lawyers with disabilities in the organic structure of the noble Association and promised to do their utmost best in ensuring that the LWDF initiative becomes a worthy example of a success story.

He also expressed the hope that the ongoing NBA constitutional amendment would institutionalize the Lawyers with Disabilities Forum in the NBA organizational structure.
