Imo First Lady Visits Deaf Couple, Donates Gifts And Cash.

In an effort to alleviate the harsh economic conditions of some of vulnerable indigenes in Imo state, the first lady of the state has visited the Osuoha couple who are Deaf, presented them with gifts and cash.

This was disclosed in a statement released by Imo State first lady, Barrister (Mrs.) Chioma Uzodimma on Wednesday.

According to the statement, it took several months to track down Mr. and Mrs. Chima Osuoha but on Monday the first lady was able to locate the couple in Umuihie Amaowuihe, Ubommiri, in Mbaitolu L.G.A, Imo State with the help of Imo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu.

INN reports that the couple were happy to receive their august visitors, the message and gifts sent to them by office of the first lady were also received with joy.

Uzodimma also thanked the Commissioner, Lady Nkechinyere Ugwu, NCWS secretary of Mbaitoli LGA, Mrs. Joy Ajoku, and other employees of the Ministry of Woman Affairs and Vulnerable Groups who represented first lady for the visit.
