In the quest to instill proper Service orientation, delivery and government ease of doing business, the Planning Research and Statistic Department of the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) conducted a 3 Day Workshop for the development of Operational Guide lines.
This disclosure was made by the head of media and publicity of NCPWD, Mbanefo JohnMichael I. on Friday
The Workshop which took place recently in Abuja attracted Stakeholders from various walks of life including personnel from the Commission to develop a standard and acceptable Document for the Commission’s Vision, Mission Statement and to silhouette a 6 months’ Work Plan for the Commission.

In his welcome address the Director Department of Planning, Research and Statistic NCPWD Mr Sorji Adewale reiterated that the aim of the Workshop was to produce a Working Document which will be globally accepted and up to required standard and can also be presented and use at every given opportunity.
Adewale also stated that the Workshop was organised to create an effective and coordinated Environment for all Departments to be in tandem with their Job Schedules, descriptions as well as responsibilities.
He bemoaned the absence of the Executive Secretary of the Commission Mr James David Lalu whom he revealed was inescapably absent.
